Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys
Ruta Sepetys does not disappoint. She is a fantastic writer that does a tremendous amount of research to make her novels as accurate as possible. This book is just as great as her debut and I loved every single moment of it. It was a bit depressing but it's not without hope. If you have an interest in New Orleans, its history and culture, to learn more about the French Quarter, then I highly recommend this book. It will keep you at the edge of your seat and bring a tear to your eye.
Sepetys is definitely one of my favorite authors of all time and I will continue to read everything and anything to writes in the future. <3
