The Diviners by Libba Bray
I am slightly disappointed with this book. I really liked the premise. I thought the plot was pretty good! I was really into the story and was sitting on the edge of my seat to find out more (even if I was able to predict a few twists here and there). However, I couldn't stand the main character, Evie. She was so full of crap and made a lot of decisions that were just selfish! Sam was another character I couldn't stand. But I think my biggest disappointment was the forced romance in the book. There was no need for that and was only placed there to create that "WOW!" feeling that comes with "romance" (although I find it to be obnoxious as hell). The writing was good and so was the story. The character, however, needs work.
Give this a shot if you are a fan of Libba Bray or if you are curious to what this book is about.
