Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan
What a fantastic book! I LOVE everything about this book! The writing, the characters (all but one), and the premise is incredible! I can't get enough of it. It is now one of my new favorites because I just enjoyed the journey and the lessons it taught throughout.
The writing is so clever and witty. The main character, Clay, was hilarious to read about. I love all of the characters except Kat... she was full of it. I wanted her to get slapped but, alas, no such luck. My favorite character was Rosemary Lapin. Such a kind and eccentric little old lady. I adore her. I adore this entire book!
If you love books about books and trying to find the secret to "immortality," then I highly recommend you check this book out. It's a masterpiece! <3
