Darkborn by Alison Sinclair
This book was so good! I am not going to write out a full-on review for it because I simply do not have the time right now (I have school and other projects that need to be taken care of). So whenever I have a free moment, I just want to read. I will probably get back to doing full reviews when I have more time. As of right now, here's the quick version.
This book really surprised me! I had no idea that I was going to like it as much as I did. I just found it on the shelf at the library one day and thought, "Sure! I'll give it a try!" And I am glad I did. The story is so interesting, the characters endearing, and the writing incredible! Alison Sinclair did a fantastic job of writing an engaging fantasy set in the 19th century. I was really blown away by her story and world. She truly is a talented writer. I'll definitely be checking out her other books and I am really looking forward to reading the sequel to Darkborn.
If you like fantasy and historical settings with great characters who take part in a romance that won't make you sick to your stomach, then I highly recommend you check this book out. I think you are going to like it. I know I did and I don't even like romance all that much. X3
