The Joy of a Peanuts Christmas: 50 Years of Holiday Comics! by Charles M. Schulz
I love the Peanuts gang. Everything about it. The comic strips, the holiday specials, etc. I love it all! My mother grew up watching the specials and she passed that on down to me and I, too, am a fan. So it should be no surprise that I fell in love with this collection.
Originally, I was supposed to read this closer to Christmas but that's usually a very busy time so I didn't get around to reading it until now. However, just because it's not the "right" season, doesn't mean you can't enjoy reading this during any time of the year.
These comic strips are witty, fun, quirky, and intellectual. What I love about Schulz work on Peanuts is his knack for social commentary. If you haven't read anything by him or seen any of the holiday specials, give it a go! You'll have fun picking up on his comments on how the world was during that time period!
