The Snow Day by Komako Sakai
This is such a cute little picture book about a bunny and his mother playing in the snow whilst they wait for the bunny's father to come home. The story is so beautiful and sweet with illustrations to match. Also, I've been needing to read a book about snow since it's really REALLY hot where I live and having it be by a Japanese author was just a plus for me since I've been meaning to read more diverse books.
On another note, it's called The Snow Day so I couldn't help but think about Jack Frost whilst I read it. Really made my experience that much more enjoyable.
If you love picture books, winter, bunnies, or a beautiful story then I highly recommend you check out this book! Especially if it's been extremely hot where you live.
