Odd and the Frost Giants by Neil Gaiman
What an incredible cute read! I adore a lot of Neil Gaiman's children's books. They are always so engaging and whimsical and lovely. His writing style is among the best I have ever seen (in my opinion, at least) and he never fails to weave a tale that sucks you right into the narrative. This book is no different.
I love the characters in this book. Odd is such a sweet little boy with a unique outlook on life. Also, this book deals with Norse mythology and I LOVE Norse mythology. I also have a thing for Loki but shhh~ We don't need to go into that.
I had so much fun with this story and even though it is very short and, perhaps, could have been expanded upon, I still enjoyed every minute I spent in Asgard.
I highly recommend you read this book if you love Neil Gaiman's writing, Norse mythology, or quick, fun reads in general. I think you will like it.
