Red Dragon - Thomas Harris Man, I took FOREVER to read this book. Not because it wasn't interesting, but because it was so fact-driven that you can't just fly through it without taking into consideration what is being told. I am glad I read this book because I always wanted to read the book where Hannibal Lecter first appeared. Now there's four more books left for me to read and I know it's going to take just as long. if not more so, to get through them. Such heavy books.

To be honest, I have lost the interest in reviewing books. All I want to do is read them and go to the next one. I don't know... I guess it's because of how little time I have to do anything these days. But I will give short, quick thoughts on them so here goes.

1. Well-written story with strong facts to describe an investigation.
2. There's really not much character development in this book aside from the Dragon himself. He was a very interesting character to study.
3. Can be slow at times but still engaging.
4. Gore, gore, and more gore.
5. Fun look into the human psyche.

All in all, you should give this book a read if you like thrillers and mysteries. Especially if you have an interest in Hannibal Lecter himself. However, as stated previously, it can be quite slow so if that's not your cup of tea, you might want to skip this one. Great read!
